Trip Purwokerto 25-29 Dec 2025

We left jakarta on 25 dec early morning 6am. We had lunch in Tegal, missed a turn so took another 15 minutes to the restaurant, wendi. Then we left to purwokerto around 1.30 pm and arrived in baturraden around 5 pm. We had dinner in baturraden and had susu jahe at bu darmi.

Next day, friday, we walked to pancuran 3 in the morning. Pray in baturraden. Families arrived in villa and we had dinner there.

Next day, we went thru the tour banyumas with bus. Visit dawuhan, lunch in ikan goreng lik tuti ini banyumas. Then visit kalibogor and gatsu 50 house (land) after then end the tour. We had coffee in kopi pletok and to nopia sutrisno. Dinner in uncle house in karang nangka.

Sunday, we had family gathering lunch at sawah atok. Then to rumah kebondalem (gang suprapto 1). Dinner in baturraden. 

Monday, before heading to jakarta. Went to batik anto jamil in sokaraja, had soto in rm sutri. Went to roen bakeri and eco 21 for mendoan. Then head home to jakarta arrived around 9 after lunch in km 61 the regular bakmi jawa place.

Weekend update: 2nd and 3rd week Dec 2025: BOv2, T100, 100P

Played on saturday on 2nd week Dec: 5-5 (1-3, 5-4) diki vs endro ramli, 3-6 diki vs opa edi, 6-7 (2) nyoman vs budi don; all with Bov2. The Bov2 swing fast but a bit uncontrolled (pic 2).

Played on saturday on 3rd week Dec: 6-1 opa vs budi rahmt, 3-3 don vs devi hari, 0-6 hari vs don mursid. Tested the 100P with syn grip but felt very heavy and ultimately affecting the set. It felt flexible though spin is there.

Weekend update: 1st week Dec 2025: T100-2

Played on Sunday for 1 set only: 6-4 budi vs hari hasan with T100-2. Brought along side the BOv2 as well but opt for the T100-2. The control was good but some lack a bit power, some balls hit the net. Opponents played well, hari is so good at drop shot and lob. Partner need put away volley.

Weekend update: 3rd and 4th week Nov 2025: BOv2

On 3rd week played on Sunday for 2 sets with BOv2: 4-6 rahmat vs hari-gatot, 6-2 rahmat vs hari-don.

On 4th week played on Sunday for a pro set with BOv2 after late company event: 9-8 gatot vs budi-don. The scores were (I served first): 2-0, 2-2, 4-2, 5-3, 6-4, 6-6, 8-8) broken once. 

BOv2 after playing several weeks: need to swing else go flat or powerless, easy power from swing but less control. When serving, needs to hit above the ball to keep it in.

Weekend update: 2nd week Nov 2025: T100-2

 Played on Saturday: 6-3 (0-2) devi vs hari-don, 6-5 (0-2) gatot vs hasan-nyoman. Opponent Don and Hasan are so much better now, they produce low topspin forehand. Trailing on both sets, was a tough sets. The T100 is just so good on control, change the grip to synthetic grip and comparably lighter and easier compare to before with leather grip. The power, control, and spin quite balanced. More spin compare to BOv2 because slightly lowered power. 

In addition, I got a slight hip sore from playing tennis few weeks ago without any good warmup and stretch.

Weekend update: 2nd week Nov 2025: BOv2

 Played on Saturday and Sunday all with BOv2.

Saturday: 4-6 hari vs opa-edi (mostly hitting to edi), 6-2 nyoman vs gatot-diki, 2-6 hasan vs gatot-diki.

Sunday: 6-3 endro vs faisal-devi (strong opponent).

BOv2 verdict: no arm pain, weight is definitely good. On sunday, change T100-2 grip to synthetic grip.

Weekend update: 1st week Nov 2025: T100, BOv2

Played on saturday and sunday. 

On Saturday (BOv2): 6-5 endro vs faisal hari; 3-3 diki vs faisal budi.

On Sunday (T100-2): 3-3 endro vs ramli faisal, 3-4 opa vs don moko, 2-6 yusuf vs moko gatot.

Verdict comparison: T100 good on almost all aspects expect on slow pace balls. T100 is very good against strong opponent, good return. BOv2 is just easy. On Sunday, after 2 long mini sets, a bit tired and BOv2 should be very nice. T100 produce heavier balls.

Weekend update: 3rd week Oct 2025: BOv2, TR96.

Played on saturday dan sunday and you got it right: only BOv2. Actually not quite true, I do bring my TR96 but only for warm up. BOv2 does not sounds right for just hitting out, it may need higher ball speed. 

On saturday: 6-1 endro vs iwan-hasan, 6-5 don vs hasan-diki; trailing 3-5 but managed to play safe. 

On sunday: 6-5 diki vs gatot-faisal, 2-6 gatot vs faisal-rahmad, 6-2 faisal vs moko-don.

Verdict: BOv2 is an attacking racquet, just so easy maneuverable balanced frame. Actually reminds me of PS97 but slightly lighter package.

Weekend update 2nd week October 2025: T100-3, BOv2

 Played on Sunday for 3 sets and more. Tested Solinco Blackout v2 with hyperg 17g at 40 lbs. The sets were 2-6 hari vs rahmat mursid t1003, 1-2 moko vs edi gatot t1003, 4-6 rahmat vs devi gatot t1003/bov2, 6-3 moko vs mursyid don bov2.

The Bov2 played light compare to T100 but still have that stability for serves, forehand, backhand, even volley. The foam filling works well, the balance is very very nice. Overshoot some forehand. I can say that in stock this felt really felt good. 

Weekend update: Revo2, CX18, T100-2

 Played on thursday night and sunday morning. 

Thursday night brought Revo and CX18:  4-2 fathan vs anom lucky, 2-4 anom vs kiki fathan, 2-4 same players, 4-2 lucky vs gusti fathan, 2-3 lucky vs gusti anom. Played with CX18 but too low powered for night games.

Sunday morning comparing Revo and T100: tough set 5-5 rahmat vs devi widia T100 (1 ace), 6-2 devi vs don diki T100, 2-4 rahmat vs budi gatot Revo. Definitely easier to play with T100 with too much spin some times but still awesome, Revo is more direct reminds me of pro staff.

Also on serve, trying to use shoulder back opening up the chest and produce more power.

Bought hyped solinco blackout v2 and strung with hyper g 17g at 40 lbs now.

Drumming 2025: cant beat a good 20" ride

 Played on a office band event this year. Rehearse with the following line up: Zildjian New Beat 14" hats, Zildjian Armand Medium Crash 16. The right cymbals staring with Istanbul Mel Lewis 18" crash ride but too washy for rock setting, then Zildjian K Custom Session 18" ride but too pingy for the rock, then settled on the last rehearsal with Sabian 20" Medium ride that is overall standard but just perfect. Just cant beat a good 20" ride.

 

Weekend update: 3rd week September 2025: T100, revox20

Did not play tennis on the last two weekends, we went to Lembang and the office event. 

Played on Saturday only because business trip the next day. Played two and half sets: 3-0 endh vs don-ita x20, 4-6 don vs bud-yan t100, and 6-3 bud vs don-mursyid x20. Trailed 1-3 on the last set but manage to end with a win. 

The x20 with 16g syngut at 50 lbs last time strung it. This maybe the first time played it in serious double. Overall, a control racquet with lower launch angle. Serves pretty good but better than T100 on volley. I say that this 98 is better control racquet than TR960, ATS98, even PS97. It has better plow through than T100. Reminds me of PS97.

Weekend update: 3rd and 4th week August 2025: T100, TR96

 Played on 3rd and 4th weeked of August 2025.

We had a tournament on 3rd week: played on Saturday with partner Devi: 6-2 vs Hasan-Widia and 1-6 vs Budi-Hari. Played both with T100. On Sunday 3-2 played with Devi vs Hasan-Gatot. 

On Sunday 4th week played 3 sets: 6-4 rahmat vs budi-hari, 6-3 rahmat vs gatot-don, and 3-6 don vs hasan-budi. TR96 just not as forgiving as T100.

Weekend update: 2nd week Aug 2025: TR96, T100

 Played twice on thursday for 2 half sets and few singles game and sunday for 4 sets.

Thursday: 1-3 rahmat vs rosid-rus T100, 2-2 rosid vs rahmat-rus,  singles 1-1 versus rus and rosid TR96.

Sunday: 5-6 budi vs mursyid-devi TR963, 2-6 iwan vs ramli-mursyid TR963, 6-2 iwan vs dudi-hasan TR963, 5-5 hasan vs mursyid-iwan TR963/T1002.

Played on 2nd, 3rd, 4th week of Jul 2025.

1st week: japan

2nd week: 3-3 opa vs rhmt-ade tr96, t1002; 2-2 opa vs rhmt-hri; 3-6 gtt vs hsn-mok, 1-6 nym vs hsn-bud.
