Weekend update 2nd week November 2024: T100h/w

Played on Saturday and Sunday mostly with T100h. The weather was a it damp so the T100w did not really work well.

Saturday: 3-6 Dv vs Bd-Dn T100h then T100w. Dv got flu recently so not as sharp got attacked by Bd and Dn. Then retired at 1-3 with Op vs Rm-Gt. After than replaced Op at 0-3 then finished 2-4 after opponent retired. Played with T100h on the last 2 mini sets.

Sunday: 2-6 Dv vs De-Ny T100h, De just controlled the net unless attack first. Then 6-5 Ny vs Bd-Dn after trailing 1-5, Bd-Dn played so well baseline and net. Then 3-6 De vs Dv-Ed. 

Weekend update 1st week Nov 2024: T100w

 Played two sets on Saturday: 6-2 dn vs hr-ny, 3-6 dn vs hr-en. Both playing using T100w, also tried new technique for 2 handed backhand which was good. I tried this below technique of tilting your body so that one of the shoulder is higher than the other.

Also halloween party around the block.

Weekend update 4th week October 2024: T100

Played once on Saturday only with T100h. 4-6 and 6-4 with same partner and opponents Ny vs Bd-Ad. 

First set was just playing but on the second set we attacked more and came to the net more.

Weekend update 3rd week October 2024: TR96h, TR96a, MGOS

 Played on saturday and sunday with 3 racquets: TR96h, LMOS, TR96a.

Saturday: 1-6 dn vs en-bd MGOS/TR96h, 6-4 gt vs bd-ny TR96h

Sunday: 4-6 rh vs iw-hr TR96a/h and 5-6 dn vs iw-ad TR96h

TR96a kind of thud and flat maybe because of the kevlar string, better with hyperg. MGOS is too soft a bit uncontrollable.

Weekend update 2nd week October 2024: tr96h, t100h

 Played on Saturday and Sunday. 

On Saturday played twice with the same partner and opponent ny vs bd-dn 6-0 t96h and 3-6 t96h/t100. On the second set the opponents played so much better than us.

On Sunday played only once against strong player: 4-6 rm vs mr-ny t100h. 

Over the week, sold my new dunlop sx 300.

Weekend update 1st week Oct 2024: TR96h

Played on Sunday: 5-5 (5-3) ed vs iy-rm, 6-0 en vs dk-bd, 6-4 bd vs en-hr. 

Start with warming up using TR96 and played all through the sets with it, did not touch the T100h. 

TR96h with 2 overgrip just felt good: service, volley, forehand, and even backhand.

Weekend update 5th week Sept 2024: T100h, TR96h

Played on Sunday for straight 3 sets with T100h: 5-4 bn vs mr-du, 6-4 du vs rh-bd, 6-7(5) dk vs mr-dv. Despite the bright sun, played well with T100h, good spin and power.

Hit out with TR96h which was quite good.

Weekend update 4th week Sep 2024: T100h, T100w

 Played on Saturday: 5-5 ys vs im-sy T100h, 3-6 ys vs ek-dk T100w, 6-4 hr vs gt-iw.

The T100w just so low power now.

Weekend update: 3rd week Sept 2024: T100, CX16

It was a long weekend and played tennis on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday: played 3 times: 8-5 yn vs ed-dk, 6-0 dv vs du-ny, 0-6 ny vs gt-dk

Sunday: played 3 times: 6-5 rh vs dd-ib CX16, 8-8 gt vs ad-dk

All played with T100h. Adjusting from CX16 to T100 felt a bit weird and easier.

Weekend update 2nd week Sept 2024: T100, CX16

Played on saturday: 6-3 syt vs dv-en, 5-6 iw vs kk-dn, 1-6 ny vs syt-x. Tried the for first few games but still kind of low on power. 

Weekend update 1st week Sep 2024: T100h

 Played once on Sunday: 6-0 dv vs iw-mk and 6-3 dv vs iw-ny; both T100h. Partner played very attacking and good defense as well.

BLX Six One Team and Steam 100

The first racquet that I buy is BLX Six One Team in 2013 after many reading from TW. The other option at that time was BLX Steam 100 but the score was lower (76 vs 83) than the 6.1 team and stiffer according to the review. Apparently, now that I know that Andrea Petkovic did not use the 6.1 team 2013 but the previous 18x20 version. Genie Bouchard also did not use the Steam 100, she might have use BLX Pro 95, a 16x20 pattern. 

Weekend update: 3rd week August 2024: T100

 Played once on Saturday: 6-2 iw vs op-gt T100h (mismatched but they were OK), 6-2 mur vs ed-dk T100w (strong opponent), 0-2 iw vs iy-bd (iy just attacking), 2-6 iw vs mur-dn T100w (opponents attack more).

Weekend update: 2nd week Aug 2024: T100

Played once on Sunday with T100-3 nice and plush but a bit soft. 7-1 (5-0) rh vs iw(hr)-gt, 6-1 dv vs iw(rh)-ny, 0-3 rh bs ny-iw.  

Weekend update: 1st week August 2024 T100-3

 Played once and just a set due to many players. 6-4 hr vs ad-gt. We led 2-0 then trailing 2-4 before finishing 6-4. Played with T100h.

Bought blx steam 100 and turns out the white grommets are made from rubbers which could break down.

Weekend update: 3rd July 2024: T100s

 Played on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday: 3-6 Ad vs Dk-Bd T100h; strong attacking opponent, 6-4 Ad vs Hs-Du T100h; more balance opponents for us.

Sunday: 6-3 Rh vs Op-De T100h; De leaved much opening, 5-6 Dn vs Gt-Hs T100w, failed to close at net.

T100h started to loose control but T100w still pretty good control.

Also hit with Dedi at KBI with yonex vcore 97 290grams with solinco at 50s lbs, the racquet felt powerless at off center hit.

Jogja trip Jul 2024

Fam boarded train on Thursday. I flew on Friday. Visited artjog at museum nasional jogjakarta then to warung klangenan which was not far from the museum. After checked in Grand Tjokro hotel, spouse and I then walked around Malioboro and first time dinner in Raminten. On Saturday breakfast bubur gudeg around the hotel then went to the kondangan. After that we spent time in Tugu Lor, a nice former hotel and now coffee shop. At night, spouse and I went to Prambanan Jazz, watched Fatur, Eva Celia, KLa, and others. On Sunday, breakfast soto around the hotel, lunch in Malioboro, and then to airport.

Weekend update: 2nd week July 2024: T100-3

 Played 1 and 1/2 sets on Sunday: 3-6 dn vs rh-ht and 6-5 (3-3) iw vs bd-gt (i replaced rh). T100-3 felt nice with good spin and control but low power.

Play in 3 days, saturday, sunday, and tuesday on the eid adha weekend.

Tuesday 2 sets: 6-3 ad vs ht-rh, 6-1 rh vs ht-ad, all LMOS

Weekend update: June 2nd week 2024: T100

Played on saturday for 2 sets: 6-4 T100h hr vs dn-ht, 4-6 (4-2) T100r ed vs mr-en.

Revolve is tighter than HG at 40lbs.

Weekly update June 1st week: T100 HG and Rvlv

Played once on saturday for 3 sets: 6-3 hr vs ad-ht, 6-7 ad vs mk-dk, and 4-6 hr vs mk-bd. 

Compare the T100 with HG and Revolve, HG is lowered power and softer.

 

Weekend update: may 3rd week: T100

 Played 2 sets on Thursday, a holiday, both with T100 HG: 3-6 bd vs ed-rh and 6-3 dn vs bd-ny. Played on KBI court, been a long time but this court is a slow one, ball bounces low producing long rally. I could not produce as heavy spin as on the other regular court.

Weekend update 3rd week May 2024: TR96-s, T100-s

Played on saturday and sunday with TR96 w/ HGS and T100-3 w/ HG, all 50bs. 

On saturday: 6-3 TR96 gt vs op-ed, 3-4 TR96 ht vs dv-es, 5-6 T100 dn vs gt-bd. 

On Sunday played once 5-5 (5-2) T100 mr vs ia-rm. Opponent played strong but we, stronger, able to contain. 

T100 grip 3 with HG not as spinny as wilson revolve.

Got holes on my artengo shoes.
